OceanWings (ex AYRO), a French company that designs, manufactures and sells an automated and lowerable wingsail called Oceanwings® , has been awarded on October 12th with the “EVOLEN 2021” Innovation price.
EVOLEN is a French association for companies and professionals serving the energy industry that encourages and promotes innovation – support projects and start-ups since 1998 with the EVOLEN Innovation price. This year, the award was handed over during the EVOLEN Annual Days on October 12th.
“This price awarded to OceanWings (ex AYRO) reflects the interest generated by the Oceanwings® and its value in supporting all maritime stakeholders with the environmental challenges while participating in improving their service and profitability.
This price brings an additional motivation to the OceanWings (ex AYRO) team but also strengthen our ties with EVOLEN members” says Marc Van Peteghem, co-founder and Chairman of OceanWings (ex AYRO).
